Overview | Effective Date: March 24th 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Time2Eat ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Time2Eat mobile application and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform" or "App").
Time2Eat is a community-driven food safety platform that enables registered users to submit, view, and share illness reports and food safety observations relating to food service establishments ("Restaurants") located in Indonesia (with primary operations in Bali) and Thailand. The Platform operates as a neutral hosting service and does not independently verify, endorse, or make any representations regarding any user-submitted content.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APP.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Time2Eat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Platform and uninstall the App.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING HEALTH DATA: Illness reports submitted through this Platform may constitute special category personal data under applicable law, including the Indonesian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022) and the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). By submitting such reports, you provide your explicit consent to the processing of this data as described herein and in our Privacy Policy.

ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To protect that integrity, access to the Platform is open only to individuals who meet certain baseline requirements and who commit to maintaining an honest account.
- You may use the Platform if you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are not otherwise prohibited from using the Platform under Indonesian or Thai law. If you have previously had a Time2Eat account terminated or suspended, you may not register a new account.
- Creating an account is straightforward, but it comes with responsibilities. When you register, you agree to provide truthful and accurate information, including a valid email address, and to keep that information current. Your account credentials are personal to you; please do not share them with anyone else. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, whether or not you personally authorised it, so if you ever suspect unauthorised access or a security breach, let us know immediately at support@time2eat.app and we will act promptly.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Time2Eat will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account credentials. We reserve the right to disable any account at our discretion if we believe that security has been compromised or these Terms have been violated.
NATURE OF THE PLATFORM — PASSIVE CONDUIT AND NEUTRAL HOSTING
Platform Neutrality
- Time2Eat operates exclusively as a neutral, passive hosting platform and electronic noticeboard for community-sourced food safety observations. The Company:
- Does not generate, create, author, or originate any Community Reports or other UGC;
- Does not independently investigate, verify, validate, or authenticate any Community Report or the accuracy of any information submitted by Users;
- Does not endorse, recommend, adopt, or ratify any User's report or opinion;
- Does not make any representations regarding the safety, hygiene, or suitability of any Restaurant;
- Is not a food safety authority, regulatory body, or public health agency.
Community-Sourced Data
- All illness reports and food safety observations displayed on the Platform reflect the personal experiences and opinions of individual registered users only. Any statement displayed on the Platform represents the views of the individual User who submitted it, and not the views of Time2Eat. Users acknowledge and accept that community-sourced reports may be incomplete, unverified, or reflective of individual experiences that may not be generalizable.
No Health or Safety Advice
- Nothing on the Platform constitutes professional health, medical, or food safety advice. Users should not rely on Platform content as a substitute for professional guidance, regulatory inspections, or official food safety assessments. In the event of a serious foodborne illness, Users should seek medical attention and report the incident to the competent government authority in their jurisdiction.
Limitation of Platform Liability Under Indonesian ITE Law
- In accordance with Article 1 and the general principles of electronic information service provider liability under the ITE Law (Law No. 11 of 2008, as amended), Time2Eat acts as an electronic system operator providing hosting services for User-generated content and does not assume editorial responsibility for third-party content posted by Users.
Limitation of Platform Liability Under Thai CCA
- In accordance with Section 15 of the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007), as amended, Time2Eat shall not be subject to liability for User-generated content to the extent that we did not knowingly cooperate with, consent to, or facilitate the publication of content constituting a computer crime offense, provided that we take prompt action upon receiving notice of such content through our designated notice-and-takedown procedures.

- Interim Measures
- Where a dispute involves a report that may constitute prima facie false or defamatory content under applicable law, Time2Eat may, at its sole discretion and without prejudice, temporarily flag or restrict access to the disputed report pending resolution of the dispute. Effect of Termination on Disputed Reports
